Tropical Moscow Mules are flavorful, easy to make, and are an instant crowd-pleaser. Made with pineapple and orange juices, these simple tropical mules will make you feel like you've been transported to a summer beach vacation!
[feast_advanced_jump_to]Key ingredients
- Pineapple juice: The pineapple juice gives these mules a fun tropical twist!
- Orange juice: Good quality or freshly squeezed orange juice is best.
- Vodka: Your favorite vodka brand will work great. I like using Tito's.
- Ginger beer: Ginger beer is a classic ingredient in any mule recipe.
How do I make a Tropical Moscow Mule?
Traditionally, Moscow mules combine vodka, ginger beer, and lime juice. For this tropical mule, I decided to substitute the lime juice for pineapple juice and orange juice and they are so refreshing!
Simply combine all the ingredients together with ice and serve with a garnish of pineapple or an orange wedge, if desired. These pineapple mules come together quickly and are easy to whip up.
Tips for serving a crowd
To best enjoy the drink cold and bubbly, I find that Moscow mules are best made fresh, rather than in a pitcher.
That said, to avoid playing bartender all night, these would be a great "signature drink." To make these for a crowd, set up all the ingredients on a bar cart along with a cute sign listing out this recipe. Guests can help themselves and even customize their drink with extra pineapple juice, or whatever garnish they prefer!
What should I serve this Tropical Mule with?
These are the perfect summer drink! They would be fun serving with more summer recipes such as my Easy Marinated Grilled Chicken, Watermelon Salad, and Farro Salad.
How do I serve a Mule?
I recommend serving this mule, like all mules, in a copper mug. Copper mugs help keep the drink extra cold, plus are festive! If you are in the market for some, I love these (plus they come with copper straws!). If you don't have copper mugs, you can use a normal glass.
